I have now assembled the tree and I think it's great. It was with me within 24 hours of my placing the order.

I had originally ordered a tree from Zooplus, but it took forever (when it arrived I was amazed to find it had been shipped from Germany), and was broken in 2 places. Their phonelines were down and it took 4 days for them to answer my email, asking them to collect it. They were polite, but the whole experience was just not good enough.

The tree was £10 more here (note, it wasn't the same tree), and shipping was not free, but this one is much nicer and you can't beat getting something 24 hours after you click "order"! Also the way it was packaged was extremely sensible-- the whole thing came in a cube no wider than on of the square platforms. So very little packaging waste-- just some plastic to hold it together. The other tree came in a massive box, and the poor packaging must be why it arrived broken!

I just got a cat and she is already enjoying the tree. The only thing I would say is that the base could be sturdier-- I put some free weights on the base plate to ensure she doesn't tip it over. Maybe that's not necessary, but I wanted to be sure since she is a big cat.
